Nafisa M. Jadavji (@Nafisa_10) is a Neuroscientist. Currently, she is postdoctoral fellow researcher and instructor at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, in Ottawa, Canada. She completed her doctoral training at McGill University in Montréal, Canada and postdoctoral training at the Charité Medical University in Berlin, Germany. Her post-doctoral research focuses on understanding how dietary and genetic deficiencies in folate metabolism affect the course of stroke and neurodegeneration using a mouse model. Her research has been published in Behavioural Brain Research, Biochemical Journal, Neuroendocrinology, Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience, Human Molecular Genetics, European Journal of Neuroscience, Journal of Pediatric Reviews, Neural Regeneration Research, Environmental Epigenetics, and Neuroscience. Currently, Nafisa is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Journal of Young Investigators (JYI) and Executive Committee member of the Canadian Association of Postdoctoral Scholars (CAPs).

April 3rd, 2017 Susan Rapley
Susan Rapley is currently an All But Dissertation PhD Candidate at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. Her MSc and PhD work focus on the C-type Natriuretic Peptide and its role in learning and memory, particularly during aging. Aside from neuroscience, she is passionate about data and science communication. Coffee, Cats and new adventures are also frequent features.
